Griffin was interrupted as Takeo staged The Doctor away. She followed them into the light making sure that Takeo did not see her limp. She stood ready fight them but saw that the guns had no effect.

It was at this moment that Nick noticed the lights getting dimmer and dimmer. The wind was picking up. The sky was getting darker than usual. Nick would've called this a storm had it not been for the unusual creepy feeling tingling up his size. Nick knew that it was a humanistic warning for danger, according to Caleb. Nick pulled out his grimoire and, pricking his finger with his ornate gold pocketknife, dropped some blood on it. "What's going on? Tell me about the spoon, Mortemus." Nick whispered. Words began forming from the blood, but before he could read them, a sinister laughter began erupting from the darkness, causing Nick to notice the television and it's subliminal message.

The message played until a loud screeching came from the sudden Darkness within. Then, Mutants. Eight of them. All looking like they were on a mission. Nick looked at the words on the paper:

Nick scoffed at the sucky rhyming, but knew to take its words seriously. Nick glanced towards Illya. "We have to find a light that can ward off this thing!" Nick shouted over the wind. "It's the only way!"

Nick conjured a fireball out of his hand, holding it out in front of him. He hoped this would work, but it all depended on whether it was his demonic side or pure side that conjured it. It was a coin toss.

Takeo knocked back another mutant rather forcibly as he fiddled around in his pocket, looking for his military flashlight. He flipped it out as he flicked the switch. shining the light against the mutants.

Claptrap was startled by Illya's sudden change of attitude, then listened to what he had to say. "Wait, Me? Killing machine? Pfft! You got it all wrong! I'm not like those OTHER Hyperion robots who's hell-bent on killing anything that resembles a human! Us CL4P-TP Bots are built for all sorts of helpful tasks!" Claptrap rambled on.

Jack looked at takeo and nodded. He looked at sunny. "Cover yourself" jack shined the light on the tunnlers and put one hand on his assault rifle. He fired 5 3 round burst at the group of tunnlers. He kept fireing at the mutants. "Everyone attack the ones with the light on them!" Jack was waveing the light so that all the tunnlers were at least a little affected. "We need light!"' Fucking tunnlers....but theses....these werent the same. They were demons.

Takeo moved forward, ripping through one mutant, as he retreated back to his position near Jack.

SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

The light pushed back some of the Mutants, covering there eyes as they moved back away from Nick. It was then where he came again: The man in the suit



He danced in the blanket of Darkness, Light from his helmet keeping him safe as the faint sound of water splashing left and right, and heavy breathing could be heard, his deep voice bouncing off and echoing in the Darkness.

Light. Stay with the Light. No matter how faint. No matter how small. The Light is your guardian. Bullets do not work without Light. They run from Light. Goodluck.


And soon, the man left back in the Darkness as it surrounded him like a bubble, but not eating at him due to the light as he disappeared. At your feet, you find a useful item:



In Darkness, Fight with Light.

Nick watched with satisfaction as the mutants started backing off. Boo yah!

Nick spotted the flashlight and handed it to Illya. "You need this."

Nick began conjuring lightning out his other hand, continuing to ward the darkness.

Jack continued useing his pipboy for light. "I swore to god.....if I eversaw another fucking tunnler, I would find there fucking nest, and send it to hell!" Jack yelled. He looked torwds sunny. "Dont be afraid of them. They grow on fear. We have light." Jack said. He fired 10 more burst from his rifle, his clip almost empty.

Takeo rolled his eyes and kicked back another one as he turned around, batting one away with the edge of his sword. We better get to Nick. I don't suppose he has some fire he can us to help us. Takeo said, waiting for Jack's consent.

The Light broke the Darkness, yelling in pain as the Darkness enveloped around them broke off like a shooting star before the voice came again. Shoot them! Shoot them now! The Darkness broke, they scuttled around you, trying to find better openings as the Taunting man began to growl, seemingly coming from the space around you... Grrr... I'll show this fool!, He won't let you win today! He's just another one of the idiots who dared take my power! Soon, the building rock and shook before each light bulb, except the Flashlights given to you by the Divingman, broke in a spark as the only protection you had was the flashlights. Kill them, you idiots! All of them! And soon, they shot forward, trying to break the defense of the station.

Takeo spat at one of the mutants charging at him, momentarily stunning it. He shone his military flashlight on him as he brutally sunk his katana into its eye as he twisted his blade to the left and drew out sharply and slashed its head off.

Jack looked at takeo and nodded. "I wont be able to fight though. I cant move my arm from my waist, or the tunnlers can get me from behind. There will be a circle of light around me, as long as my arm pipboy is on, and I dont direct it to anybody. But yeah, whoever this nick is, we should go see if he can help" jack put his arm to his side. The light surounded him. Sunny was in the light, and so was takeo. "Walk with me."
Jack started saying a old bible passage. "As I walk through the vally of death, I shall fear no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil, for it is gods way" jack said to himself mostly. All the tunnlers white eyes were on them...watching....waiting. he hated tunnlers. He could hear there breathing.

Leo picked up his Remmy, dropped his duffel bag infront of the gas station and zipped it open, putting inside the Shotgun before taking out his own weapon: The AK-74U. He turned on the forward flashlight on the gun rail, before flashing it upon the Darkened Mutants before firing at them, killing the two as another two came way out of the Darkness: What were they? And how were they being made? He pushed these aside before yelling at the gas station: "Lets go! Flash the light on them, then shoot them!" He yelled, returning his attention to the Darkened Mutants that reproduced with each one killed

Takeo walked along, cutting down the exposed mutants with relative ease. He looked around as he spotted Nick in the distance and began to walk faster, ushering the pair to move quicker.

Nick looked around him as the lights cut out around him, leaving just himself and Illya within the view of the flame and the sparks of electricity.

Nick couldn't do much lightning action, as he was shot and could barely move that arm. His fire, however, could spread much better than lightning could. He placed his flame engulfed hand on the store, igniting the plaster. He then touched some cloth and tossed it to the center of the store. Finally, he lit the chip aisle he was neat on fire. Nick looked around, noticing the fire spread.

"To anyone who can hear!" Nick shouted through the darkness towards the beams of light that shone through. "I've lit the place on fire to ward off the darkness. Anyone who can, come towards my voice!"

He backed up into the bathroom, motioning for Illya to follow.

Takeo began to drag the pair towards Nick's voice, hurrying from the pursuing mutants, he dropped a grenade from his belt, unpinned, as he threw both of them over his shoulders and ran for his life as the explosion caught the horde of mutants, exposed in the light, raining dark blood on the area.

Charles moved in the darkness with ease thanks to his glowing blue goggles. The top goggles raised, giving him an angry sort of look. He unhooked his rifle from his back. Cleaned, polished, locked, loaded. He aimed the weapon. As if to the rythm of a song, he shot three times, putting them into the nearest mutant to him. His body had a light budge from the gun, but not as much as if the.mutant would if the bullet hit. The kind of splat and squirt the bullet would give would be entertainment enough at the moment. But, as the adrenaline ran through his body, shooting mutants one by one didnt seem like enough as time had slowed just for him it seemed.

Jack called after nick. "Nick! Over here! Jack moved at the same speed. He was keeping. The light grew brighter....although it only felt like that since every thing was pitch black around him. A tunneler tried to attack him, but it quckly went back to the darkness. He was terrified. He put his helmet back on with his free hand. Better. "Nick!" Jack yelled. He looked at sunny. "Stay in the light"

Snippy followed Nicks voice, and into the bathroom. He didnt even break a sweat, not a breath out of beat. His goggles down, he looked focused. Serious. His goggles giving off quite a bit of blue light. His gloved hands being kept on his rifle, his heart pounding against his chest. Filled with adrenaline.

Nick could hear cries heading towards him, calling his name. Nick continued to call out, "Over here!" This had to be the deadliest game of Marco Polo ever conceived.

Nick looked around him and noticed the flames were spreading. Before, the bathroom was only illuminated by Nick's hands. Now the fire was spreading up the wall, through the aisles, and towards the center. He could see more of the store. "Come on guys! To the bathroom! Watch the fire!" He called to him, noticing the area getting brighter and brighter, so much so that the demons didn't even come near. Work smarter, not harder.

Shit jack said as the gernade exploded. It was too far to hurt him, but he was coverd in dark green blood. "Fuck it!" Jack yeled as he picked up sunny and ran torwds the door. The tunnlers were runing away from him becuase of the light. He ran until he ran straight through the door. He huffed. "Fucking hell." His pipboy was still on. "How the fuck did they get here?"

Takeo slid through the door as a claw tried to swipe at him. He turned back as he was sliding and threw another grenade, blowing off another chunk of their horde. He ran to the bathroom and caught up with Jack, panting.

Griffin knew she had no chance on her on since she had no source of light so she followed the group taking out the tunnlers when the light reached them. She heard Nick call out and ran the rest of the way to the bathroom making sure to stay in the light. Her knee hurt as she ran slowing her down, but she finally made it to the bathroom.

Soon, upon seeing the burning light, the Darkness began spreading apart from the gas station, the Darkened Mutants pulling back from the gas station. Idiots! You'll be sure to rue this day! I won't fail! The Darkened Mutants slowly pulled back in a retreat to the rim of the gas station, screeching at the Light that emanated from the chip aisle. Though the bad news was that you literally just burnt up a gas station. It would be a few seconds before the flames would blow up the station. You'd have to go outside at a safe reach to protect yourself from the flames. Or you can go farther out where the Darkened Mutants are, fend them off for a short while, and hope that the gasoline explosion is enough to repel the Dark Presence's blanket'
