Vegas. Not somewhere she wanted to be. It was loud, which means it would be hard for her to meditate anywhere. There were too many lights blinking on and off...out of sync. People laughing and drunks telling bad jokes. Also loud music, loud terrible music. It was the last place Raven wanted to be but she was there with the Teen Titans, who she'd got separated from somehow. It didn't bother her much though, Beast Boy had been getting on her nerves with his non-drunken bad jokes.



After wondering for awhile she noticed there wasn't much laughing or music since she showed up. There were also less people walking in the streets. Suddenly a groups of people with ragged clothes and menacing smiles. She forced some back using her telekinesis but other kept moving towards her. She lifted things from the ground one after another hitting two or three people at a time. She focused all her energy, hoping one big burst of energy would help her. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos! A burst of dark energy pushed from within her and forced the group back. Some hitting buildings and dying while others were merely knocked a few feet backwards. She didn't waste time searching for a safe haven until she had her energy back to fight them again.

The male narrows his eyes slightly as he sees the buses from the window, a small frown forming under the mask

"Hoover Dam" the tape recorder chimes, and he taps his chin, clearly deep in thought "Popular tourist attraction" the tape continues, before his palm met the side of the device gently, causing it to cease it's spiel

He shrugs slightly and rubs his neck, unsure if the more defensible dam was a good idea, or if the town that was already a safe zone would be a better option

That, and in the North there will be fewer of them too." I knew it was mostly ffor my own benefit, but you try being alone in the middle of something like this. I waited for ten minutes for a response.
"Can anyone at all hear me through this? I am still at the check in desk at the hotel. Where are you guys?" The fear was there, but it didn't drive me. I was calm, I gathered my thoughts

Responding to the Suplex connection of all the radios into one, he spoke into it "13X13 Copies. So far, it seems that the options are weighing in to going to Charming. But we might have a tie coming up, don't know." He clicked off the radio microphone as he hear the girl speaking on the radio. "Well uh.. Considering we're in different parts of the lobby, not sure how you are lost." He responded somewhat with a snicker as he again clicked off from the radio mic, addressing Snippy as he gave a forlorn smile before shaking his hand. "Well, pleasure to meet you Snips, and your uh... Rock. Hope you're a good shot."

Claptrap stepped forward from the crowd. "Hmm, Mind if I have a look at that for a second?" He points towards the map, As his one single eye scrolls across the map.

"Hmm... I might not know much of Earth or Vegas, But I think my next course is for the Hoover Dam, And hey! Maybe we can show those Crossed who's boss and show them what happens when they ruin my-! I mean... Our, fun time." Claptrap said as bravely as he can.

A flash of red and a small jarring note from my song forced me to turn my head, I saw staring at a young lady, her hair a vibrant red and I could not help but voice the name 'Dahrena...' But I quickly remembered her end and shook my head, forcing the memory out and clearing my thoughts, but even then the resemblance was unmistakable. I studied her for a moment then realized I was staring, not wanting to seem rude and bowed my head to her in a respectful fashion. "Apologies, you remind of someone is all." I stood up straight and turned my body towards her. "My name is Vaelin Al Sorna, Tower Lord of the Northern Reaches and Sword of the Realm." I gave another small bow and offered her my hand as was custom. "Might I enquirer as to yours?"

Running in the opposite direction, Raven ran past buildings trying to decipher which would be the best for a safe place. Finally she came upon a hotel, perfect. She glanced back to not only find those she didn't kill following her but more of them. She ran to the door of the hotel but couldn't get it open. She focused her energy on the door and forced the door open.

BOOM!

The doors crashed against the walls behind them as they pushed everything barricading them out of the way. She finally realized why she was unable to get the doors open. She closed the doors and moved the barricaded items back in their place just as the group approached the entrance. With a sigh of relief Raven turned to explore the hotel. She hoped there were others, even though she's sort of anti-social she wouldn't want to be stuck in this hotel alone. She walked down through the lobby in search of anyone "Hello!" She called cautiously "Anyone here?" She moved slowly glancing around corners to be sure she didn't run into any more of those people.

It was strange, they weren't normal people. They were more lustful, like they had a deep urge to kill her but why?

When he regained enough strength, Nick Gautier walked out of the diner and among Leon and co. where a massive decision was being presented.

Choice One: An ensemble of old school buses lay dormant behind the Bellagio's guest parking lot. You count five, three appear in relatively poor condition—their paint shoddy, rust encasing the fragile steel rims, followed by listless blood streaks splattered across the outer hull—so perhaps it's best to avoid them. However, two appear in fairly good condition. Newer models, possibly. Do you use them and venture North - it's a snow filled environment, a bit harder for The Crossed to traverse in - but is Choice One your decision? If so, you might want to check which two survivors among you can drive a bus!

Choice Two: Use the bus to travel West. There's a small town: Charming, California. Population 10,000. Rumor has it an MC known as 'The Sons of Anarchy' has kept The Crossed at bay. It bears some investigating - but I warn you, there's a good reason why they're possibly safe - not so friendly toward outsiders. Wanna risk it?

Choice Three: The Hoover Dam is 30 miles away from your current location. It's possible to utilize the two buses and venture forth toward your destination. WARNING: The Dam yields great benefit accompanied by great danger. Due to large quantities of hydroelectric energy flowing through the Hoover Dam, the surrounding region is fully operational, thus significantly increasing your chances to contact the U.S. military and signal an evac.

However...

The Crossed, naturally drawn to potential candidates of mass destruction, have taken up the mantle and seized the Hoover Dam. Currently faint, but audible sounds of explosions greet your ears. Do you risk it all and try to take the Dam back?


Nick thought about his options. Option one was to head North, probably on the highway on I-15. This meant they would pass Glendale, AZ, Salt Lake City, UT, Boise, ID, and onward into Helena, MT and Great Falls, MT. Nick didn't believe he'd find his mom along that route.

Option two meant heading west to California. The danger there lay with a gang known as the Sons of Anarchy. It was closer, but nowhere near where he was trying to get.

Option three to him was the best bet. It was the closest location, so Nick figured his Mom would be around there more likely than Charming, California or Great Falls, Montana.

"Let's try to take the dam," Nick motioned. "I mean it not too far and if we take it, we could get in touch with someone. I say go for it."

Kyoko had realized that though she was certainly being stared at, she had no grounds to fire off a smart remark, as she had likely been the one staring in the first place. She stood up a bit more as he addressed her, inclined to do so even further as he had done the same. Though her mind was struggling as it sought for some proper gesture to give his bow in return, and the best she could offer was a small bow of her own, a mere lowering of her upper body than anything too graceful. She took his hand firmly, figuring that her relatively smaller hand would barely register in his grip. "It's Kyoko Sakura, but uh... Kyoko works. Don't worry about the staring thing, I was probably doin' it too." She responded, the man's full name definitely ensuring that he was nobility or better. "You have something you prefer to go by, or is the full name required at all times?" She inquired, letting him end that shake when he found it proper to do so, as he seemed more educated in such manners.

After typing in the password, Jack looked at the switch.....If he activated project purity, he would die from the radiation poisoning.....but life would be given back to the wasteland, through pure water, for every, and all. Jack remembered the bible passage his dad would always tell him....I am Alpha omega, the beginning and the end, and I will give onto him the waters of life....freely His dad had killed himself for this project....and it looked like he was about to do the same. He pulled the switch.
The machine glowed brightly, so bright it nearly blinded Jack.

Jack woke up......he was.....some were. Was this what heaven looked like? He looked around... he saw people; wearing strange clothing....most was wearing peace together armor. He was on the ground...how did he get here? He checked his pipboy on his wrist. There was no map available. The place looked like New Vegas, but....different....New Reno perhaps?
Jack got off the asphalt....strange....it felt....smooth. Jack looked over to two people talking....They looked like raiders, with crosses on their face. He had to go....now. Jack got up, surveying his surroundings. Everything was destroyed, of course, but it looked recent. Did the legion get to New Vegas? He pulled out his 12mm, and dashed to the nearest building. It was a casino. The Bellagio. The place was a mess on the outside....but, the place was also clean....cleaner than anywhere else in the wasteland. Sure, there were broken ruins, but the actual damage was recent. New. He had to get in there, or his life span was only a few minutes. The people with crosses on there face were comeing closer to inspect him. He aimed the 12mm torwds the people. " STAY BACK"
He pulled on the knob. Locked, and he couldn’t lockpick it right now. Too many enemies. “let me in!” He hoped to god someone was there. Death by raiders usually not a pretty sight.

Charles nodded to the male before sitting and withdrawing a can of pineapple slices, and a tiny bicycle wrench beginning to attempt to open it.

"...Fine dining."

He sighed with immense regret, considering the dull feeling of hunger in my stomach.
The incredibly expired can of pineapple slices would not open for him. Not with a tiny wrench, in any case.

"So, you don't believe me?" Charles spoke to the rock he had placed beside him. He raised an eyebrow, considering whether he could tell the story believably. It didn't hold together in any such fashion in his head, sounding like the ramblings of a drunken hobo who just switched his special meds for worse ones.

"Beings from outer space made an evil copy of my underpants and it came back to haunt me as a scarf. The villainous scarf rearranged my organs, made me into a time-traveler and gave me superhuman strength. Also, it grew antlers on my head. Then, a humongous, diamond-shaped flying fortress shredded it with a lightning bolt." Damn it. That doesn't sound very credible.

"My clothes had a DRM virus that spread across the galaxy copyrighting all the things!" He finally outputted.

"Uhuh. Suuuure. That happened." The pet rock continued to mock his inability to tell the story plausibly.

"You know what! You are a dumb talking rock, you don't know nothing!" Charles replied and angrily stared at the Pineapple can, pondering whether hitting it with my pet rock or dropping it from the top floor window would do the trick.

"It seems there's a tie.. With one last vote, we might just have to go wherever the last one says between B or C..." He spoke into the microphone of his radio before hearing the banging of the doors, kneeling before raising the shotgun to the door. "Who are you!? You Crossed, aren't you!?" He fired a shell into the nearby wall but not at the door. "Crossed ain't allowed here!" He yelled at the stranger.

"Option B I'd say is our bet, I can hack into communications, saying they have them. After that we can communicate and see if they will allow us in, possibly even bargain. Wait, who the heck..." I pulled out my gun and aimed square between the eyes. "Answer his question!"

Jack panic a little. First he was in a strange place, now he was seconds away from being killed with a hunting shotgun. He raised his hands, holstering his weapons. "I don't even know who are the crossed, but im surrounded by raiders, and I need answers." Jack yelled. He looked back at the raiders. They were fucking licking there fucking lips at him. "Let me in, or you just let a man die out here."

"Let him in! We can't let him die, he sounds like he knows what he's doing. He looks it too."

Her hand while small and seemingly dainty held a recognizable strength within it, not one of physical strength but of will and determination and if my song was leading me correctly, a power of the Dark, much like my own. I bowed further forward and kissed the back of her hand in formal greeting. "Lady Kyoko." I spoke the name softly, trying on its odd sound and finding it to my liking. Her question about my titles forced the first small smile I've had since arriving in this place. "Please, call me Vaelin, I am new to this place and I'm afraid my customs may not be in line with your own..." Before I could finish the loud boom and crash of debris from the entrance drove me to immediate action, whipping the sword from my hip and instinctively moving towards in front of Kyoko with my sword held defensively. My song had not raised a note at this new person so I slowly allowed my sword to lower but kept it close to hand and my guard up.

Jack shot the closet raider in the head. Crack. The raider fell, grinning. And laughing. Who the fuck were these people?! He aimed the 12mm at the group of raiders. "STAY THE HELL AWAY! Or I WILL FUCKING MURDER YOU!" He yelled boldly. They were not only creepy, they seamed more psychotic than usual. On of the raiders looked at him. "Do it you puussssy. Doest bother us." The raider had a chainsaw. He revved it. Fuck. "UNLOCK THE FUCKING DOOR!" Jack readied his weapon.

In an exasperated sigh did Leo open the door, not knowing whom he grabbed but simply grabbing Jack before throwing him inside, a shotgun shell coming out from the Remmy as it made a plastic "Clink clank" On the floor, knocking one of the Crossed dead before shutting the door, placing the wood bar between the handles. "Goddamn it, when the hell weren't you in here already!?" He sighed, groaning out. "Somebody break the fucking tie, we're leaving now! That one Crossed is gonna attract more!"

"Boooooooooooriiiiiiiiiiiiiing." Tristana exasperated, clearly bored of the situation, everything seeming to come to crawl after her awakening. She set her cannon down upright and bounced onto the barrel, huddled at the top with her legs crossed, and her head held up by her hands. Her dulled eyes took a look around the foyer, and landed on Jacket a ways away, his mask coaxing a bewildered look from the blue midget. Combined with his somewhat pristine letterman, it was a strange combination to look at.
