Charles sighed and stopped yelling as his throat got tired. Instead, he wandered about looking about. He was mostly looking for a guard or employee. He tinkered with random things, and stared at other things.

"Hello? Are there any employees? I have a serious question!"

Snippy yelled out, hands cupped over his respirator. After, he stopped and listened.

Dr. Jennifer Keller walked with a purpose - heal the injured, the sick, the dying - that was it. A squadron of six Diamond Dogs troops trained their M4 Carbines at Vaeli, anticipating his next move, "What's going on?" Dr. Keller stepped in, idly regarding Snippy, "Do you... have a question, sir?"

His goggles turned at a downward angle, giving him an angry look. His arms crossed over his chest like an amgry white suburban dad. He was quiet for a moment, but then he spoke. And when he did his voice boomed.

"Before all of this bullshit happened, I ordered the complete 20 DVD set of Sex and the City. Long story short, do you guys have wifi?"

Dr. Keller flipped around at Jacket, manually clicking 'mute' on the TV set smiling, "Uhm, hi there! May I help you?" She was physically attractive - mid-late 30s, perky, and tall - she extended a hand, smiling, "Evening, I'm Dr. Keller, one of Diamond Dogs leading physicians. Are you... ill?"

"Well, I don't know, I ingested this strange orange shit, and I'm scared it could be acidic...though...honestly, nothing's changed really...so er...can you like, check what it was, pump it if it's something that could harm me?"

Thorin walked off the helicopter to enter the Mother Base. It was the most impressive fortification he has ever seen, aside from his home of Erebor of course. He wandered about as Commander Keller appeared before them all and told them about the key places of the base. The Armory sounded like the place to go, but the Medical Bay would be wise to check out. The arm to which his shield lies upon hasn't stopped hurting since he got hit by that shotgun blast. In fact it felt like the bone was broken. Before he indulged in his needs he wished to ask a question.

He walked up to either Snake or Miller, whoever was still standing around and spoke, "Excuse me, but," He then paused as he looked at the Oak Shield, it was still there but badly damaged. Holes punctured and splintered the wood into a fine mess. Thorin absolutely hated seeing it in this shape, it was apart of him and his pride would not allow it to remain as so. He then looked towards the Men as he took a deep breath and then hesitantly showed them his Shield. "I ask a great favor of you. You see this shield...is there anyway for you people to restore it back to the way it was? And not only restore it but make it even stronger? I've learned that Oak cannot withstand the power that these, guns, possess. So, please can it be done?" He asked with concern in his voice.

Tristana yelped as she felt herself fall down a peg, and land on something that...certainly didn't feel like her rear end. The shock of the drop jolted her eyes open, and she reflexively looked to her feet, only to see she didn't have any anymore.

"Whoaaaaaa." she murmured, intrigued by the strange turn of events, "Huh...I always wondered what it'd like to be Urgot." She eventually chuckled and wiggled the new appendages around, and without a second throught reached for her sidearms with them. Wow...it worked! How? WITH THE POWER OF SUCTION-CUPS! Now...all she had to get down was the process of actually firing the things. With further laughter she holstered them again, folded her arms and slithered right along.

...But not before stealing another potion. The yordlopus slunk away with the purple vial as well, just in case this one wore off on her before it could do her any good. You never know when you might need a drink out on the road! With that, she slithered on back out to the main deck, hoping to find either Miller or Snake.

To document the potion's effects of course.

Athena smiled as she finally awoke on a safe place. Even vault hunters need their rest. She got making sure she had her weaponry with her. She sigh happily as she noticed the "tour" was about to start as well as she has not been tampered with. She listened to the man explain the base. As she looked around she noted that it seemed like a down graded version of Hyperion. Though a lot less snobs since the soldiers saluted Snake. She sighed and made her way to the med bay seeing the potions. They all reminded her of the drinks Moxxi would make back at Concordia. She reached for the purple potion as the little girl ran away with it. "Hey I was gonna use that one!" She shook her head with a growl and changed her mind so she decided to grab the green one. She looked at the leaves and roots it scared her a bit, but soothed her down as well. She then took it all in gulp hoping she didn't up like the little girl she saw that was now half octopus. "Please don't give me the same fate..."

Dr. Keller chuckled, "No, no - just... technical malfunctions, sir. And 'strange orange shit,' hmmm, can you be a bit more specific? Where did you find it?" He bent over, idly scribbling down a few notes on her chart, anticipating Jacket's response, "I mean, I could go in, pump the chemicals out, and try and eliminate it from your system, but if the substance you ingested isn't toxic... I'm sure the kidneys will excrete it within a few hours."

The doctor:

I was glad to finally be laying in a bed and I let the doctors tend to my wounds and winced when they tended to my back and put medicine on it. I felt my head being wrapped in gauze and held still. I did managed to look at Aura. I grimaced when a medic pushed head forward. "stay still" i heard a medic say. I try to stay still and wanted to sleep.

"i want to sleep..."i said. But with my slight conscussion, would it be alright? I wasnt human so it wouldnt be a danger of not waking up. It wasnt that serious. Was it?
I felt them touch my back and removed my shirt and wrap bandages around my back that looked very bruised now.

If you examined her, you'd note the following: She resembled a bi-petal, weaponized frog of sorts. A rifle hoisted over her shoulder, armor, hair...

Griffin looked in the doors of the rooms in the infirmary. She could not find The Doctor in any of them. She was about to ask a woman who looked in charge, but then she heard some moaning and voices and figured out that she was busy. Griffin slipped out of the infirmary and decided to stock up on bullets and maybe get a sword. She went to the armory and saw a green frog girl near some potions. Griffin went over towards the potions and considered which one she would choose. She picked up the brown one and smelled it. It smelled like a farm. Griffin changed her mind and put the brown one down and grabbed the purple one. She put it to her lips and drained it dry. She stood back and waited for something to happen.

Charles stared at the various colours of potions. His goggles turned at an angel almost before he rose his gloved hands up. He thought to himself that well what the hell.

"Eh. What the hell. Can't. Hurt too much. I mean.."

Snippy reached forward and snatched the purple bottle. He snatched a straw from his pocket and stuck it into the bottle, and put it into the holes at the bottom of his respirator. He sipped at the potion for a few minutes before putting it down, taking back is straw and waiting for an effect. It didn't taste too good either, but eh. Whatever.

I was almost asleep when i was suddenly jolted around and yelled out in alarm and tried to struggle and was pin down. "let go!" i yelled. I didnt like this. Where was Charles? Where was Griffin? I think theyre about to harm me! I didnt completely trust these people, i only came here because i was hurt and needed to rest. But now, i might not be so calm.

"stop..." i said and they let go and i coughed again. I hear the doctors trying to calm me down and felt a cloth cover my mouth. they were trying to knock me out and i felt fear again. I freaked out and screamed out in fear and thrashed. My scream could be heard. I could hear the doctors yelling now and trying to pin me down as it would aggravate the bandages

Athena closed her eyes as she felt her skin grow rough but wet at the same time. She wiggled a bit and heard the mucus noise giving a good guess at what she just became. She sighs and opens her eyes as she already notices the way she blinks is different. "Well I guess I could have been a tree..." She says as she feels her own skin producing mucus. She noticed the fly and without even thinking her tongue grabbed it and forced her to eat it. She was about to puke but realized she liked the taste. She was confused and wanted to be disgusted, but the logical side of her brain made her think about how well this will be for survival. Food will literally be everywhere and as a... 'frog' there are other perks that come with it.
