Griffin stood there and listened to everyone make their choices. Choice one and two had sounded good but choice three had a time limit. Griffin studied the dog that Snake had brought with him. The dog might turn into a problem later. She would have to keep an eye on it, but for now it was unimportant. Griffin tuned back into the conversation when she heard the girl talk about cameras. "What kind of surveillance does this hotel have?" she asked the girl.

"A rather strong one one, the only way it appears you can hack it, is being in the hotel and gaining access through the higher ups, both on security and hotel management. One of them left their I.D, so it was pretty easy to gain access. If I may ask, why?"

I hate people that are like this, they treat me like I'm a kid that doesn't know what she's doing. "All you'd have to do is cut through a few wires under the control board. Simple, isn't it? Also, do me a favor, stay off my case."

"Found it! Okay, there's quite a few floors to clear out. If anything, I'd send at least five. But, I'd say that's up to Leon. Either way though, this will be a bit of a hellstorm." I was scared, but at the same time, I decided to stay calm.

"Thanks, kid." He simply responded before patting her head. He walked over to Leon before putting the shotgun in both his hands. "Five floors. Pretty small if you ask me, but we can clear it. What frequency are you on? I can call from up there with my radio." He asked somewhat quietly before changing the frequencies to Leon's own, out of caution. "Two men? Think we can do all five levels, eh? Like SWAT."

@Admin

"I'm connected to the DSO's radio signal. They're jammed. Same with the BSAA's." Shit, Leon thought, "Right now, Leo, we're cut off from Command. We've got no alternative but to hole up in The Bellagio until the radio kicks in." His eyes clenched shut, air escaping his nostrils as Mr. Kennedy's eyes fixed upon Thorin, Tristiana, IIlya, Cultist-Chan, Vaelri, The Doctor, Griffin, Raven, and Kyoko. "You, you, and you." He pointed at the NINE survivors, "Come here." The DSO Agent's arms were crossed, feet tapping against the polished flooring of The Bellagio, "We've got THREE areas of interest in The Bellagio, more specifically, in the first floor."

Choice One: "The JASMINE RESTURANT. The Bellagio restaurant is known for it's fine dining, pleasant employees, and prestigious entertainment - but as you're aware, that's all dead and gone. I don't know how long until BSAA reinforcements arrive, but we'll need nutrients if we're going to survive. It's unexplored, so be careful." A pause, "Unfortunately, I won't be able to accompany you, so you'll go alone."

Choice Two: "The CIRQUE DU SOLEIL. Interested in aquatic tapestry of artistry, surrealism and theatrical romance? Welcome to Cirque Du Soleil. As far as I'm concerned, The Bellagio is an empty deadzone, but I swear someone's playin' music via the loudspeakers. It'll attract The Crossed. Shut it off." Leon paused, "... Heh, or just venture off to check out the surreal art before it's buried along with Vegas. Your choice, pal."

Choice Three: "Room 502. I'm looking for a 'Nathan Petrilli' - iconic U.S. Senator, powerful, and rich - if we're getting any external aide out of Vegas, it's him. However, my DSO intel reports he's locked in his hotel room." The scent of fresh smoke drifts downward, you catch a small whiff of it as Leon shook his head, "... He won't last any longer, especially with The Bellagio catching fire. We can rescue him, perhaps get out of Vegas early."

What do you choose? One, two, or three?

@EVERYONE INTERESTED IN A MINI ADVENTURE.

"Hwell, nao thaht hyoo men-shun eet, hwee are ve-ree hun-gree.." Cultist's stomach began to growl and she grinned, her unusual set of numerous sharp and pointed teeth showing. She stood up and brushed herself off. "Hwee could go fhor a fansee meel. Hwee would like too go too da furst whan, meester."
Several questions were still running through her head, but right now all she could think about was getting something to eat.

"If you can access the surveillance system then we can tell how many of these... whatever they are here and have some heads up to when they will attack." Griffin said only mentioning one of the reasons she wanted to know. "Since it looks like everyone will take forever to decide what to do. We might as well know." She smiled at the girl's agitation.

Illya looks down on Sunny with a stern look.
"He may not know how to engineer things, but he knows how to kill things. Considering you completely missed Leon and almost killed me, I say if you are coming with us then we can play a bit of 'Protect the vodka', otherwise, you should stay here with the comic book guys.".

Illya didn't want to sound harsh on the girl but it sounded like she had a thick skull and didn't realise that a little girl is a maniac's dream. A little intimidation should give her the message.

"That's where it start's to get problematic, there is only a few of the cameras on the outside that the hotel controls, being in the back by the pool, and a few over alternate access points."

Jacket paused for a moment, realising his current choice of barrel extension added to his damage, but didn't quieten his gun at all, he frowns as he quickly debates replacing his rooster mask with his unicorn one, quieter gunshots were the best choice, and that would let him hold onto his high damage output

He mulls it over and quickly turns around, slipping on Peter

30 rounds in the mag as he starts his walk, 4 clips in reserve, 150 rounds in all, and he had 2 ammo bags to deploy too, so he wasn't short on ammo, but he still wanted to watch how much he used, it wouldn't last forever, after all

"Jacket, thank god I've got hold of you at last" a voice crackled quietly, causing him to touch his ear for a moment, remembering the earpiece that had gone silent for the longest time after the mission started "Vegas is going to hell, I tried calling in a guy to pick you up, but as he was flying out I think he got shot down, no evac this time, buddy, but try to stay alive, yeah?"

Jacket clicked his tape recorder "Affirmative"

"Good, I'll stay in touch as long as I can, but I'm not sure if those things will be coming for me too, I'll be okay though, The FBI couldn't find me, these guys stand no chance, I'll be fine down here for a long time, you just worry about yourself"

Jacket nods and raises the device, looking to Leon "The Sea" the voice chimes, an unclear attempt to convey his answer, option C, or three

PROLOGUE
FOUR HOURS LATER...

“North Three-Nine to Ground, do you have your target, over?”

*Bzzt!*

The uneasy BSAA Warrant Officers piloting the Chinook helicopter looked straight ahead, the sparking embers of the 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas!' sign reflected in the canopy windows. The Chinook swayed out wide over The Strip; looking down, the mass of bodies, accompanied by wild fires, was immeasurable. A downed Boeing 747 burned bright over the Stratosphere Hotel Casino.

Affirmative. This is DSO Agent Leon S. Kennedy, we're clear to land.

The Chinook rear cargo ramp opened up, giving way to Kennedy's voice, “Remember, Helena, this is a rescue op: Rescue U.S. Senator Nathan Petrelli. Our intel reports he's holed up in The Bellagio –  the Senator has a few bodyguards posted on him, but under these conditions, God knows they're not going to last long.” He walked purposely toward the ramp, rappel line hooked against his tactical belt, and dropped out, his form disappearing into a tattered Casino below. It wasn't long before Helena Harper, his partner, followed him...

Below, in the battlefield, bright flashes of humans and Crossed fighting. Tracers lit up the night, flares burst and drifted over the city, billowing clouds of high ordinance explosions crackled the earth. A Crossed male, clad in a white-and-red Elvis suit passed by with a fully-automatic MP5, blowing holes into the lower torso of a BSAA soldier. He didn't have enough time to scream as his body fell to the ground below, swarmed by Crossed insurgents that... aha, decided to defile the poor guy. It wasn't too long before he laughed manically, unleashing a volley of 5.56 rounds at his former comrades.

Ground Units, engage your targets!

A BSAA Captain trained his G36 rifle on an oncoming horde of Crossed, his men following suite, the air whirred with thunderous automatic weapons fire as they stepped into the fray...

The siege of Las Vegas has begun.
-------------
THIRTY MINUTES LATER...

What... time was it?

It's been a while since the Crossed came in and killed, maimed, or literally screwed everyone in sight: Maybe you came here intentionally, or perhaps, you woke up here- far, far away from your beloved homeland, and tossed into this new hellish landscape in the midst of what appears to be an insatiable bloodbath. If so, eh, tough luck.

You scanned the area- off to the left was a lone figure, his pistol barred between a Crossed female, struggling to throw her off-

Leeeeeon~ oh Leeeeeeon~” The female propped herself froward, a thin trickle of drool run from her mouth, her outfit, a smart black-over-purple dress suit, was torn and dirty, “C'mon, man, just one bite... then we can FUCK FUCK FUCK all night loooooong~ HA HA HA! Yoooou'd like that, wouldn't yoooou~?” Oof!

Leon's Samurai Edge swung in an upward arc, catching the jaw of the Crossed female, smashing it up and into the front of her face, teeth shattering in a spray of white shards. Blood erupted from her ruined mouth, causing her to stagger back, giggling, as if Mr. Kennedy told the funniest joke in the friggin' world, “D'awww, do yah love me pretty boy?! I never knew!

Stand back, Helena! I'm warning you!

How about this, ya pussy bottom BITCH! YOU--

A bullet screamed from Leon's handgun, cutting through the air, and plowed into his partner's cranium with a brittle, wet 'crack!'. Blood and tissue sprayed out from the point of impact. The dead Crossed twitched slightly, her brain signals sending out it's last before dying out indefinitely.

You stepped forward...

CHUH-CHINK.

Freeze.

The cold, hard end of a barrel fixed against you, and what appears to be a group of survivors—some whom aren't even human! Whatever, screw it, you've seen weirder stuff, right?

Civilians?” A pause, “Good. Come with me.

Looking up, the upper half of The Bellagio was lost in roaring darkness of flame and smoke; on the air, you could smell the acrid scent of burning – human flesh mingled with hot, smelting iron – fill your nostrils. It's as if the sky itself rained fire, and in the swirling obscurity of falling ash, your skin crawled as you saw this: A girl – late teens, probably 16-17, you guessed – sporting a bloody Miley Cyrus t-shirt, plunged a silver kitchen knife against her belly. She giggled incoherently, mumbling, “We can't stop... we can't stop... hehe... we can kill... what we want...” Her insides oozed, trailing down a massive gash against her belly, as she looked up: “Kill?” A big rictus grin met you as... she fell backward, eyes widened as if she just experienced the happiest time in her life.

God, what... happened to her?

A pool of the teenager's blood trailed against your toes, as you grimaced, disgusted. Stepping forward, you pushed open the luxury hotel's golden twin double doors...

The Bellagio was quiet. Deathly quiet, considering the war that was going on outside. Multi-colored rose petals were propped up neatly thanks to wires and cables hoisting them up, a perfectly reconstructed Bronco Horse stood at the entrance, it's face contorted in surprise, as one hoof was raised.

A massive skylight illuminated the moon above, as little dust specks danced about. The floors were marble, cleaned and polished, vibrant in appearance. And finally, the entire infrastructure seemed to be held up by large white pillars that lead to an upper deck.

Enjoy the calm, folks. I guarantee it won't last for long.

Between now and 2 PM MST tomorrow afternoon is the prologue period. Feel free to post your character prologue. If you complete your prologue or opt not to post one, feel free to engage in character interaction!  ROUND ONE will begin tomorrow this Monday @ 2PM MST.

@EVERYONE INTERESTED IN A MINI ADVENTURE.

Zoey - Prologue; The Sound of Silence

My, what a day... Zoey looked to be cleaning a little blood off of her set of pistols, checking the ammuntion she had left in each clip as she sat in one of the seats in Hotel Bellagio; Vegas had definitely changed since the crossed outbreak... It wasn't exactly the Zombie apocalpyse one sees in all those movies she had been watching, while skipping out on her College courses, though, the skills she had with handling fire-arms at the very least saw to it that her time spent had not gone to waste when the Crossed first struck. Who knew that her nagging father's insistence on honing her aim with pistols, and heck, even a scoped rifle sometimes would pay off? However, her thoughts and, well, unwinding time in general was interrupted when Leon prsented them with three options; 1) Head to Jasmine restaurant to scavenge for some food, 2) see who's messing about with the loudspeakers in Circus Du Soleil or 3) give room 502 a little visit to see how the Senator within is doing. She was about to suggest option 1, but, it appeared that the others had already concluded that option 3 would be the way to go... So, with that in mind, Zoey decided to tag along with the others quietly.

Seeing as they really wanted to head upwards, straight into the fire that was steadily consuming the upper levels of the hotel, Kyoko would pass on the group's little adventure. If that senator wasn't dead already, he'll probably be dead by the time they reach him. She saw no point in wasting energy on a lost cause like that... but she wouldn't hesitate to help the group once they returned, and help them right now. By that, she meant standing guard in the lobby, she left Leon and the others to go on their march upstairs, taking her spot on the railing by the horse statues once more, her eyes trained on the main entrance to the Hotel.

@Admin and those with him.

Illya smirked, he was amused by how brave the girl was. He stood back and looked the girl up and down, he parted his lips and nodded.
"Alright! Let's see if you really can go out there by yourself and turn off the music!"
He raised his eyebrows and put his arms out, he shouldn't be making jokes right now, just incase she takes something literally.
"You see those windows?"
He points to a set of double-glazed windows.
"I'll be watching you there. Do you want my knife? You probably won't need it, but just incase…"
He taunted her, Illya found it funny.

Raven looked at the man then shrugged and nodded. "Alright." She said, heading towards the room where the music was playing from.

"Urrgh. I hate people like you." I ran towards him wanting to fight. "It doesn't appear you have a gun..." I said as I drew my gun,"... so why would you bring a knife to a gunfight?"

He put the shotgun right behind the kids back. "Put your fucking gun down before I blow you off." He said, a large grimace on his face as he said so. "Do it now, and you'll be a good asset, understood?"
